Investigative Interviewing
Two Ravens Investigations owner Patrick Hannigan is a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) and is skilled at fact-finding, cognitive, and behavioral interviewing methodologies. He is trained in the Wicklander-Zulawski Method of Investigative Interviewing, the Reid Technique, and Forensic Testimonial Evidence Recovery (FTER). Hannigan also has years of experience interviewing people as a journalist, bartender, and sports reporter/editor. Having a skilled interviewer to assist with civil litigation, criminal defense, and family law is crucial to the success of your case. Testimonial evidence provided by witnesses, victims, plaintiffs, or defendants can make or break a civil, criminal, or family law case. Hannigan knows how to locate, interview, and deliver the testimonial evidence you need for your case.

Civil Litigation Support
Year of experience in research, writing, and journalism allow us to accurately source facts and evidence for litigation and compile those into compelling, fact-rich documentation. We excel at gathering information, interviewing, background investigations, finding people, serving process, and surveillance in support of your case.
Background Investigations
Want to know who you are dealing with in a personal, business, or legal matter? We have access to Tier 1 data unavailable to the general public. That, plus our experience in open source intelligence and public records searches allow us to produce comprehensive, accurate background reports so you have the information you need to make informed decisions.
Surveillance
We have the latest technology and training to provide legal, ethical and effective surveillance for our clients. We understand and operate within the bounds of state and federal privacy laws. Common cases involving surveillance involve civil or family law matters, fraud detection, or theft prevention.
Skip Tracing and Locates
Need to find someone for a personal, business, or legal matter? We can help. Finding people – especially those that don’t want to be found – is both and art and science. Our agency uses a highly effective blend of technology, proprietary databases, and old-fashioned detective work (“Get off your ass and go knock on doors”) to find people.
General Investigations
Got a case that doesn’t fit neatly into any category? No problem – get in touch and let’s talk about your situation. We offer a free consultation to any potential clients.
Process Service
We’ve worked with the big national process service firms, so we know just how inefficient they are: bad information, old addresses, no awareness of our area. At Two Ravens, we utilize our skills as investigators and local knowledge to get your papers served quickly and professionally. If you don’t know the location of the party you wish to serve, we’ll find them. If you are trying to serve someone outside of North Central Washington, we have connections throughout the state and can refer you to a competent server or PI to get the job done. At Two Ravens, we are meticulous in documenting service and due diligence so your legal case can move forward on a solid foundation.
Notary Public
We are licensed as a Notary Public with remote and electronic endorsements. (#25004072)
Mediation
Two Ravens is trained in mediation by Dispute Resolution Center of Skagit, Snohomish and Island Counties – the largest and most active DRC in the state. When it comes to conflicts involving small claims, workplace challenges, parenting plans, neighborly conflicts, and other issues, mediation can often provide a functional alternative to expensive and time-consuming litigation. The benefits of mediation include:
- Informal. The process is flexible; attorneys are not necessary.
- Confidential. Nothing discussed be used in court unless both parties agree on a settlement.
- Customized Agreements. Help resolve interpersonal issues not necessarily susceptible to legal determination.
- Greater Degree of Party Control.
- Preservation of Relationships.
- Mutually Satisfactory Results. Parties are generally more satisfied with solutions they had a hand in creating.
